Beijing Olympic Closing Ceremony 2008

The Olympics Beijing 2008 has came to an end. Throughout the olympics lots and lots and lots of new world record and olympics record has being set. What a great competition it was among the participants. Obviously, swimming is one of the games where new world record has been set.

China has created a history in diving and gymnistics where they has won 7 out of 8 gold in Diving and 9 out of 14 golds in gymnistics. CONGRATULATION! And Overall China is the best during this 2008 Olympics where they won most gold. USA came 2nd and Russia Federation came 3rd. Congratulation to all the participants from all over the world.

Last night I watched the closing ceremony and it was again a great show performed by the Chinese. They did really impressively well during the opening ceremony and again they did it again for the closing ceremony.

Next Olympics will be held in 2012 in London. GooD LucK London! (:

Olympics Beijing 2008

Swimming

Michael Phelps' dream finally came true today! He represents the USA. He won his 8th Gold Medal after winning the 4x200m Relay. He has created a new world record for Swimming and for winning the most gold medal in an olympics itself. No man has ever won 8 Gold Medal in one olympics game. The last record was 7th Gold Medal. Congratulation Phelps!

He said and I quote :
"You need to set a positive mind set from the beginning,
so that you can work hard to achieve it"

Badminton

Lee Chong Wei's hope to win the first gold medal for Malaysia has failed. He lost easily to Lin Dan from China. It was really a good match. Wei's wasn't expecting Dan's fast response. So, China won the Gold and Silver goes to Malaysia. The first medal for Malaysia after 9 days Olympics.

Double Match, Indonesia lost his gold to Korea and also lost their bronze to China. The Bronze Medal Competiton was so tight. It was really a good match. Unfortunately, in the end Indonesia lost. But overall it was really great watching it.

Lately, I've been listening to the olympic theme song, You and Me all over and over again.
I can't seem to get bored or annoyed with this song just yet.
For me, this song actually have a deep meaning of its own.
*or else why would it become the theme song, right?*

It actually has delivered a meaningful message behind the lyrics.

Behind this lyrics, lies a thousand words and meaning.
It actually shows how we as ONE should be together.
As a FAMILY.
Shared the dreams and together achieve it.
put your hand in mine, we should hold tight and be strong as ONE.

Olympics 2008

The Theme Song.

Last night I've watched the opening ceremony for the Olympics 2008 Beijing.

The performance was incredibly impressive and artistic. Superb. I was damn impressed with the performance. They've practise for it for 10 months and last night the hard work actually paid off, finally. The artistic performance was so perfect. Maybe it is not but you can hardly find the ugly-ness throughout the ceremony. It was BREATHE TAKING!!! How I wish I was there.

Despite the fact it was perfect, I am a bit disappointed with Brunei due to the fact that Brunei did not take place in any of the games. But hey, we can't point finger at anyone. Maybe they have the reasons and we just need to accept the fact.
