Ramadhan

Hari-hari terakhir bulan Ramadhan kini menjelang tiba. Hari ini mungkin hari terakhir kita semua menyambut bulan Ramadhan untuk tahun ini. Mungkin kah kita akan bertemu denganya lagi di tahun hadapan? Mungkin iya dan mungkin tidak. Kita hanya mampu berharap dan berdoa kepada Allah S.W.T agar memanjangkan umur kita supaya kita dapat bertemunya lagi di tahun hadapan. Amin.

I really felt it was like we just started Ramadhan 2 weeks ago where the reality is actually we're on the last day of it. I really don't like the feeling where when it comes to the end of Ramadhan I just feel sad. Raya might be tomorrow. I really have this weird feeling where I noticed people celebreted Raya more happening rather than celebrating Ramadhan. Terawih during the 1st night wal full and packed. But as days goes by, the full and packed line becoming less and less. Shopping complex on the other hand is getting more and more customers towards the end of Ramadhan. Traffic is everywhere and it is annoying.

Anyways, with this opportunity I would like to say

Random

What a busy day I had yesterday. I was totally exhausted. After work I went to the gas station to refill the fuel. Then went to the car wash for some cleaning. Hehe.. I'm just too lazy to wash the car by myself. So once I'd reached home I'd started working my ass off the kitchen and start baking cookies for the Hari Raya. So I had managed to bake a container full. I just hope it is enough. ~~if kaka stop eating it I guess it will last longer, I mean until raya~~ Thanks kaka and wa'ie for lending your hands to help me in the kitchen.

Moving on to my next task. Helping out Babah with cucul. and once I did that, I start sending sedakah to my cousins for sungkai. I thought I can call it the day after sungkai. So went for terawih, maybe my last terawih this year. After that went to my cousin's to send their crackers. And then I rushed back home coz I need to bring my mom for a little shopping at Hua Ho Tanjung Bunut.

Something happen at the cashier. and we're totally pissed off with cashier. They misentered the system and have mistakenly entered the amount $240++++ MILLION where our shopping amount were only $182.90. We're like "WHAT?!". My mom was planning to pay using the voucher she got and using debit card. Another problem came, she (the cashier) also mistakenly entered cash transaction at her computer. So we cant use the voucher and debit card. So the problem goes on until it reaches the point where my sister were PISSED OFF at the cashier. TOTALLY! adakah patut when we dont want to pay by cash she said " Maam, can u withdraw money 1st?" and we're like "it's not our fault that u entered the huge amount." Luckily my mom did brought cash. ok we stopped there.

After that shopping, we went home around 10.30pm. At 11 pm I start cleaning the drain at home and we finished it around 12am. Later after that, I helped my mom and my sister making Kek Tapak Kuda until 1a.m.

What a tiring day.

So now, im off. (:

1st Attempt and 2nd...

Saturday... Raya is just around the corner but I don't really feeling it. I'm not that eager as like I was few years back. People were running here and there for a last minute shopping. I was told that Gadong is always packed with people. OMG! Even at Hua Ho Tanjung Bunut is always having a long queue of cars going in.

Last night I have to feeling to try out to make some cookies from the Nestle Cornflakes Receipes. I don't know why but I know I just feel like making it. So yeah, today I made two attempt of two different cookies. Ole Sayang was my first attemptand White Chocolate cookies were my second attempt.

The first attempt was rather just ok. I mean the taste are good but the mixture, NOT. It was a lil bit hard. I guess to much flour. I swear that I just follow the receipe. Maybe I'm just too naive that I was being fooled by the receipe. But hey, I'm satisfied with the taste. Hehe.

SO my second attempt was White Chocalate cookies. I was having a hard time making it. It was supposed to be fluffy but I made it soft. Out of 5 trays, I think I only managed to save 3 trays. The other two trays were a lil bit over cooked. And again the taste for it is good for a BEGINNER like me. LoL.

Below are the pictures. and FYI both of the cookies almost look the same. Or rather same but its different. Maybe I should apply some colouring. Pink perhaps? NOT!! NEVER! maybe blue. *giggles*

Piracy. Stop?

I'm just having this thoughts and I kept on asking myself why do people kept on bringing up this matter. Yes, its DVD Piracy I'm talking about. I once listened to the radio hearing people give their opinions about piracy. Most of them,well simply just said that piracy is bad, it should be stopped, relevant authorities should do something with it and bla bla bla.

Seriously dear Bruneian, its not like the relevant authorities didn't try to stop it. Infact, the have tried doing it several times. It's just taking action is not as easy as we speak. YOU want it to be stopped but hey, what makes me annoyed is you kept on buying them. Isn't it like some kind of "cakap tak serupa bikin " ? As you speak you didn't take action. What you did is you kept on buying it. Look at your DVD's collection, is there any original DVDs you buy?

questions ::

" If there's only original dvds being sold in the shop will you buy it? "

" If there's only original dvds being sold, will all of us afford to buy it? "

Some of us maybe rich but think about the unfortunate ones. I'm not saying that I'm supporting the piracy although you might think I am. I admitted it that I do buy them but where in Brunei can you find original ones? so, do i have a choice? we all know most of the Bruneian LOVES cheap stuffs. Even there's people buying imitate brands such as GUESS, Louis Vutton, Gucci and etc. Come on guys... If you think you're not supporting immitation and piracy, why did you buy it?

The same case goes to downloading movies from the internet. Do you think its original. It can be considered as piracy too. I'm not trying to exaggerate but even me myself kept on downloading movies from the internet. Why is that? To try to save every penny I have. I always wanted to buy original DVDs from the shop in Brunei but as much as I wish, I can hardyl find it.

So guys, just a reminder. If you want to argue about something, you must think whether you're only arguing with words or with actions? If you want to make a change, go ahead. Speak your words and bring ACTION along yeah!

Selamat Berpuasa semua, Here I am going to have game before raya. I called it HREC tagged. What i am going to do here, is to let you guys download the Hari Raya E card then on that white side of the card you put your signiture, this mean that you have shown tagged.

step 1: click the photo to for larger view, right click and save to your computer.

step 2: by using graphical design software such as Photoshop, Paint, CoralDraw or any software that you find it easier to use, just make your greeting,comments, name and signature just like what I have done in the photo.

step 3: any clear font that is readable, font size must not be over 14 pt, font color not to light not to bright.

Another day goes by. Today is the day where Zir’s flying back off to Manchester for her 2^nd Year. Another Raya without you. It’s going to be me & Zmah & Kyrun only. I’m sorry that I did not spend much time with you during your summer holiday here. I’ve been busy and our time just don’t click I guess. But at least we’ve managed to go out twice or three times? Insyallah, I’m gonna make it up for you during your next year summer break perhaps? I’m so gonna miss you again babe. Take care yeah. We all gonna miss you here in Brunei.
